About Alice
Alice Chambers is a director and dramaturg; she currently lives and works in Birmingham. She is particularly interested in text-based work that is form-bending and engages playfully with theatre as a tool for systemic liberation. Her work centres on collaborative processes, radical imagination, and a love for all things deadpan.
Recent credits include: The Nag's Head (Park Theatre), Sky Comedy Rep (Birmingham Rep), and Little Amal (The Walk). Currently, she is directing & dramaturging a new children’s show ‘Canalligator’ by Spoz, and a new play ‘Community’ by Farrah Chaudhry which will tour the West Midlands in spring 2025.
